is a city in western Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
The modern city of Ama was established on March 22, 2010, from the merger of the towns of Jimokuji, Miwa and Shippō (all from Ama District).〔http://www.kokudo.or.jp/〕
As of February 1, 2012, the city has an estimated population of 86,708, with 34,092 households and a population density of 3140 persons per km². The total area is 27.59 km².

Ama is located in the far west of Aichi Prefecture.
